Fountain Square illin'
Want your bike fixed? Go here. The axle on my back wheel snapped last Saturday... Luckily, it was right in front of this bike shop. Irony much!
Between Indy Swank and the Gallery.
Failed perspective shot. I diggs though.
The fountain is being replaced by a remake of Lady Spray, a water nymph statue that once stood there in the early 20th century. I'm kinda missin the Pioneer Family already. =[
I ride the 14 IndyGo religiously. My favorite shot of the night.
I got papers to write, cars to find, cameras to buy, poetry to memorize, meetings to schedule, and a job to work. I'm outty like 5000 (corny, but my pops says it all the time) xP
PS: The quality looks strange, not because my camera sucks, but because I had to shrink them to avoid them getting cut off. Hit up my fb for better quality.

Back alley art
If you look on the far right side of the picture, you can see that someone tried to tag "40" over the character's face. Why would someone deface this piece of art? Oh... wait... Fountain Square (although filled with art, culture, and class) has a plethora of gangs and such runnin' the streets. Fuckin' lames.
I was headed down to Fountain Square on my bike the other day to meet up with some poets for a writing session at the Shelby Street Cafe.
Life and love... until next time,

Take your shoes off, and chill a while...
It's not as simple as it seems. I can't properly articulate how I intend to go about this, but I'll give it a try:
It took me 19 years to learn how to appreciate this city. My city. I hated this place for a long time. It always felt as if opportunity was fleeting... as if my dreams could only become realities elsewhere. I'm slowly learning that appreciation comes with involvement. With that said, I hope to become a predominant part of Indianapolis's art scene.
Gregg Deboor, a good friend of mine had a little discussion about this previously. He said to me "If one can't succeed in his or her home town, then how can one succeed in the world? Our roots are there for a reason man." His words resonated deeply, and I had to do some soul searching. If I get love from other cities, why not support my own?
This blog isn't all about ME or MY journey as an artist... I hope to showcase ALL of the talent that Indianapolis has to offer. Anywhere from tattoo artists to classically trained dancers... local cooks, to hip-hop artists. There is no limit, and I intend to give non-Indianapoliseans a glimpse into our culture, and our future. Indianapolis... I got you- I got us.
